OUR STORY
IT ALL BEGAN WITH OUR SON ANTHONY’S LOVE OF BUILDING BLOCKS & STAR WARS!
While serving in the military, we lived in a small house on base in Yuma, AZ. When Anthony started building his large Millennium Falcon LEGO® set his room quickly became overrun with blocks and remained scattered everywhere until he finished. Have you ever stepped on a LEGO®? NOT GOOD! I asked him to move his project to his play table or the kitchen table but he insisted he prefers to build on the floor. A light bulb went off to make a solid table top with handles that he can easily push under the bed and out of the way when finished for the day. We grabbed a few plastic containers for him to organize his pieces and the very first prototype of the Build & Stow™ was born!
THE FIRST PROTOTYPE
What we didn't expect were the other uses that the Build & Stow™ offered our family. We soon discovered our younger son, Tommy, loved painting and using his Play-Doh® on the Build & Stow™. Anthony’s Dad loves to use it for building his models and his grandmother uses it for her puzzles. Whether you have a small space or a big room, you will always love a clean floor and the kids LOVE their own neat, organized, durable space without the parental complaints that come with creativity.
The Build & Stow™ is produced using eco-friendly wood. We use recycled (that's right - RECYCLED) wood and/or fast-growing woods that come from non-threatened species. All glue is formaldehyde free, and all platforms are finished with water-based paints and stains.
Whether your child shares Anthony’s love of building his LEGO® sets, or is a budding Picasso, the possibilities are endless! From artistry, jewelry making, scrapbooking, and even coloring, the Build & Stow™ is a sound play and storage option that can be moved easily from a table or floor to under beds or furniture at the end of your busy days.
